But there are a range of names and culturally-defined meanings, including shaman, medicine woman, diviner, spirit-medium, oracle, sibyl and wisewoman. There is no sharp division in these categories. The shaman may be a ritual leader, but also a solitary practitioner. The visionary can act as healer, the medicine woman speak prophetically. The ceremonial role of the priestess does not preclude her from entering into trance or shamanic spiritual journeys.” 🌙

As I was cutting a corner to reach to my house, I saw the biggest plume of black smoke I have ever seen. Boom💥 adrenaline kicked in, parked my car, took the #SonyA7sii and booked it downhill on my long board to the enormous flaming lights bursting up up in the air. At least 8 Fire trucks, 5 cherry pickers, and loads of hot fire, black smoke, debris from the buildings flowing down with so much water on the streets. Several commercial buildings raced in flames on the intersection of 73rd and MacArthur in #EastOakland. It started with the Tattoo shop with a ton of chemicals then the MetroPCS store then the Nail shop with more chemicals resulting an explosion of wild flames and that ended spreading the whole building structure. More than 10 commercial buildings lit up. But our Local Heroes #oaklandfiredepartment had it under control. Some say it was an electrical fire that started it all. Was shooting for over 2 hrs at the scene and the adrenaline is still here. Stay safe everybody. 🔥🔥🔥

I work with RADIXTROUPE as a musician, photographer, sound designer and music composer.
RADIX is a theater troupe that makes music. Or a band that makes theater. And short films. We are a troupe of artists of multiple backgrounds who train, play, and create in the East Bay. We came together in 2013 out of a desire to learn from each other, to stretch ourselves as performers and artists, and to make new ensemble-devised work that crossed the borders between theater, music, and movement. We want to tell stories in unconventional spaces using the available, surrounding materials and drawing on all the skills of the group.
